Kolin Construction Limited is proud to have delivered a modern, purpose-built educational hub for Manurewa High School. This project involved the construction of a comprehensive facility designed to support both specialized language learning and essential school infrastructure, creating a vibrant environment for staff and students alike.

The new structure features a dedicated staff wing, including a professional office and integrated kitchenette, alongside four specialized language classrooms. Each classroom is designed with a focus on acoustic performance and comfort, featuring premium wall insulation and custom-designed acoustic wall panelling (Autex) to create an ideal learning atmosphere.

Extending the functional footprint of the building, we constructed a substantial outdoor area exceeding 600 square meters. This includes a massive, high-specification concrete hardstand area and a wide, sheltered timber veranda that runs the length of the building. To ensure full inclusivity and ease of access, the project incorporates a professionally engineered timber ramp system, seamlessly connecting the new facilities with the existing school grounds.

Built for durability and modern aesthetics, the facility is clad in robust horizontal weatherboarding, complemented by commercial-grade aluminium joinery that maximizes natural light. The inclusion of a dedicated equipment storage room ensures that the school’s practical needs are met without compromising the clean, organized design of the learning spaces.
